The Saturday dinner party ( the official 40th bday celebration) was absolutely faultless- you both worked and prepped in the background to us rowdy party goers and produced a three course meal that really was wonderful. And of course cleared up after us leaving us to continue with our party! The Sunday lunch BBQ Jamie served was a real treat – tasty, plentiful and did a great job towards curing a few hangovers. Your final task was a full breakfast for us on Monday morning before we left- again, smooth service, no hassle and needless to say very tasty! It’s not easy catering for a group booking like this and I had embarked on the task of finding someone who could manage it with some trepidation- but I needn’t have worried. I have purchased 2 special occasion cakes from them in the past 6 months and both were bespoke to my preferences and both were utterly amazing both visually, in taste and in value. Christening cake – November 2010 This cake was brilliant and fun…perfect for our daughters christening day. Wayne came to set the cake up before we arrived at the venue so I didn’t have to worry. All of our guests couldn’t believe how lovely it was and when home time came, we wrapped up a cupcake in a serviette and tied it with pink ribbon for each guest to take home! The building blocks and teddy bear on top were something I wanted to keep in Maisie’s box so we left them out to harden and now they are safe forever! January 2011 – Our Wedding Day Again what a fun cake! The characters on top are of me and my husband…all of the features and markings are exact! Beneath is a cake then a cupcake tower of 120! As before Wayne came to set up the cake before the reception commenced and it stood right next to the top table which was fab! We have some brilliant photos of cutting the cake and lots of people eating it! I was told that by midnight all the guests were devouring cupcakes and thoroughly enjoying them too. I imagine the next cake I will be ordering from Red Cherry will be my husband’s 30th next December but I think its best not to mention that one for now…. My review overall would be 5 stars”

Our guests were extremely impressed with the canapés and main meal alike – in fact, we are still receiving compliments on the food. Red Cherry sourced local, seasonal ingredients where possible, which was reflected in the taste of the dishes and yet not the price, which was extremely good value for the quality of food.
